Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
This statement is made in compliance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes OSSO Energy’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending April 2026
What is Modern Slavery?
Modern slavery is an international crime that affects an estimated 40 million people around the world. It includes victims trafficked from overseas and vulnerable people in the UK who are forced to work against their will or are exploited. This disturbing issue transcends age, gender and ethnicity.
Our organisation
OSSO Energy is a public limited company, and supplies gas to business customers in the UK.Our supply chains include:• the procurement of gas; and• the procurement of goods and services to support our business (e.g. metering equipment and the supply of metering services). We assess risk in our supply chain based on physical, business and volume-related risks. On that basis, we review our supply chain to identify areas where potential modern slavery risks may arise.
Our policies
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our modern slavery policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chain.
Due Diligence processes for modern slavery and human trafficking
To identify and mitigate risk, we have due diligence procedures in place to check the policies and supply chains of our suppliers and any potential new suppliers.
Supplier adherence to our values
We have zero tolerance to modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values. We will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
